I have a UK drivers license, A1, and currently driving a 125cc.
Originally I had a South African motorcycle license, which I got about
20 years ago. My license allowed riding 50cc-125cc bikes. In South
Africa I had to write a theory test and then had a driving test.

I would like to ride a 250cc-400cc scooter. What would be my next
step?
Do I have to do a CBT for bigger than 125 cc ?

Thanks,

Peter

Hi

Interesting question, and hard to answer here with out a lot more
information.

You may be exempt from having a CBT to ride a 125 if you managed to
transfer your entitlements from your South African licence to your UK
one. What you need to do next depending on your existing UK
entitlements. Best advice is to call Sally on 01179 866200, have your
documents handy when you ring and the she can help you sort it out.

best wishes Peter
