A quick note to say 'Hi' to everyone at Kickstart. I passed my test
(DAS) with you in July last year and still check on your web site from
time to time to see what's new. I was really sorry to hear about Mike
- I remember him taking me through my CBT like it was yesterday. But
top marks to Peter for being so patient with me (and Rachel), even
when I dropped the GS500 on his GPz when we parked up.

I did DAS really just to put a tick in the box on my licence, but four
whole days on a bike....I loved it so much it wasn't long before I
ended up getting my own bike, a new Suzuki GS500. It's cheap to run
and perfect for the commute to work in all weathers. It's also keeping
me out of trouble while I'm building up experience. It seems like I
learn something new every day ("Oops, let's not do that again, eh?").

I've had so many of my friends and colleagues express an interest in
learning to ride and I keep directing them to Kickstart but so far no-
one's taken the plunge. But I love the idea of a Kickstart bike club
for rides and socials, so keep me posted on that.

Best regards to you all,
Dave De Silva

Hi Dave

Good to hear from you, Mikes death was a shock to us all, we all
thought he had made a full recovery, he had started swimming
ridiculous distances in the local pool and was full of life again. We
all still think of him often. Viv his widow donated his NTV to
Kickstart and I use it every day. His Pan European was donated to
Freewheelers the local " Blood bike " charity.

Karla has volunteered to run the Kickstart club, not sure at the
moment how far ahead things are, but will post any information here.

Drop by the office some time and say hello, ( this invitation is open
to all ), after 4.00 is a good time, we normally have a bit of free
time then. Mornings and lunch times at the moment are so busy we are
having to stagger the lunch breaks.

best wishes Peter
