Hi Everyone,

I wanted to let you know that there will be some Sprites (a total of 6) flying on the upcoming Cartosat 2E mission that will launch on a PSLV, theoretically around June 25. It would be great to have as many of you as possible listen for these Sprites. If nothing else, it will give us a chance to debug before the KickSat-2 launch. I'll be posting updated information and code on GitHub here:

In the mean time, let me know if you have any questions.

Best,
Zac

Are there any info about the expected orbit? Will it be similar than the previous PSLV mission: sun-synchron with 400-760 km?

The indian PSLV raket started successfully. Congrats to the success!
In the 06:17 separated the main payload, the Cartosat 2E, at 06:26 UT separated the 31 other satellites.

We dont have info about the orbits of this objects, but it seems, they will fly on the same/very similar orbits in the first time.
Mike Ruprecht, DK3WN published some preliminary TLE-s to the QB50 sats, flying in this package:

Maybe we can see he first telemetry receive reports on his satblog pages.
Are there any info about the Kicksat Sprites? Are there on orbit, or in another place?

Its own web page with some info for radio amateurs:

Thanks for that t.janos.  I would so like to know if / when our mission to launch 100 sprites into low Earth orbit will happen.  Think Zac said there was a possibility next year?  Here's hoping! 😀
Cheers
Terry
