The KiCAD-user moderator has set up a gmane server linked to the Yahoo
group.

gname.comp.cad.kicad.user

See gmane.org if you don't know what is gmane, or just point your
newsreader at news.gmane.org and subscribe to the above group.

This represents a much better "alternative" to Yahoos sometimes quirky
web access (which is in great part due to all the walls and filters
they put up to stop abusers, not all thier fault ;-)

So, this group can be considered dead no sooner than it was born!
