Dear Khulisa Journal Editors and Managers,

Welcome back, and I hope you had a great break over December! Wishing you a successful and fulfilling 2026 ahead, and I am looking forward to an exciting year, collaborating with you!

Thank you Nason for standing in while I took some leave over December! It is, as always, much appreciated!

Just 2 things to kick off the new year:

Upgrade to OJS 3.5.0.3
Nason has successfully upgraded our OJS to 3.5.0.3! This is now on our new test/development server. See https://test-journals.assaf.org.za/Please  Would you like to participate in testing this version along with us? Please indicate by Wednesday 14 Jan. I will then provide you with the guidelines, logins and report sheet. I would really like to encourage all to participate, so we can be guaranteed a smooth deployment on our production server.

Once we are done with testing/evaluating, and Nason has addressed our feedback, we will announce the new deployment date on our production server (I will confirm that it is convenient with all before going ahead).
