Dear Khulisa Journal Editors and Managers,

I am very much looking forward to this session with you tomorrow afternoon! Statistics in scholarly publishing is something that we have to look at, and I hope to share some quick ways with you as to how you can give editors a snapshot of all scholarly activity within your respective journals. We will start with an intro on bibliometrics, and will focus on using stats from OJS, openAlex, Crossref, Altmetrics and also Google Analytics and Google Search Console, should time allow. If not, I will arrange another session to continue our discussions on stats.

Please note that your journal must have a Gmail address in order to register its sitemap with Google, and to access statistics using Google Analytics and Google Search Console

With kind regards,
Ina

Dear Khulisa Journal Editors and Managers,

Please join me for this session, during which we will focus on journal statistics.
Our journals on the Khulisa Journals platform are indexed on various platforms. In addition, we have OJS statistics, Altmetric data, and Google Analytics. I’d like to host a workshop during which we will explore to use these metrics effectively.
By the end of the workshop, editors and journal managers will be able to locate, export, interpret, and combine metrics from OJS, Altmetric, Google Analytics, and indexing services to produce a one-page monthly “Journal Health” dashboard. This to inform the editorial board, towards data-driven/informed decisions.
Looking forward having all attending!

Kind regards,
Ina
