Dear Khulisa Journals Editors/Journal Managers,

On behalf of the ASSAf Scholarly Publishing Programme, I am pleased to share the good news that your Khulisa journal hosting fees will remain unchanged. We have not changed the hosting fees since 2016 (for 9 years in a row!), when Khulisa Journals was officially launched. For us, this is a clear indication of the financial sustainability of this hosting model/approach.

To further strengthen the financial sustainability of Khulisa Journals, we aim to increase the number of SciELO SA journals hosted on the platform. Therefore, starting 17 Feb 2025, we will launch a campaign to invite individual journals to join Khulisa Journals.

We would greatly appreciate your help! If possible, please share a brief testimonial (2–3 lines) via email about your experience with Khulisa Journals. You are also welcome to record a short video message, which we can incorporate into our Khulisa Journals promotional video. By sharing your experience, you grant us permission to include your name and journal title in our materials.

Thank you, colleagues, for your support in this effort! Please can we have those by Wednesday 12 February 2025.

We will also add the testimonials to: https://journals.assaf.org.za/index.php/index/testimonials (2 posted already)

With kind regards,
Ina
