Hi everyone,

It is widely recognized that biodiversity loss poses significant threats to our physical health and the environment at large. However, there is a critical aspect that often remains unexplored and underappreciated – the profound impact of the loss of biodiversity on our mental health.

This September, the Biodiversity Collaborative invites you to participate in our next roundtable discussion: "Inner and Outer Crises: Is Biodiversity Loss Affecting our Mental Health?" Sign up using this link.

We will explore the potential links between biodiversity loss and mental health. Our panel will discuss the underlying mechanisms and pathways through which biodiversity loss may impact mental health and the role of natural environments and biodiversity in promoting mental health and well-being.

We also aim to highlight the impact on vulnerable and marginalized groups and the challenges faced by climate-aware mental health practitioners in the Indian context.

Your participation in this dialogue is invaluable. Your insights will contribute to a comprehensive understanding of this evolving subject.
