Khula Procedure:

Khula is a procedure in Islamic law, which allows a wife to seek a divorce from her husband without having to provide a reason in court. A wife seeking khula must be willing to return all or part of the mahr (dower) that she received at the time of the marriage. Khula is a divorce by the wife at her own initiative, on the grounds of her own violation of a marital obligation. The wife can seek khula subject to fulfillment of three conditions:

Khula Pakistan Law:

Khula Pakistan law is the law on divorce in Pakistan. The Muslim husband is allowed to pronounce three talaq in one go and get a divorce by khula. Khula is a divorce where the man takes back his wife and the wedding articles he gave her when he married her. A khula divorce can be revoked as it is a revocable divorce. If the husband revokes the decision of khula, he has to pay the mahr and the bride wealth if one was given at the time of marriage.

Type of Divorced:

Khula is the most common form of divorce in Pakistan. After Khula is granted, if the husband agrees, he can pay her the amount of Mahr she had received. If he does not agree or if he refuses to pay her Mahr, she can claim the Mahr by taking him to court. However, if the husband refuses to pay the Mahr or take her back, she cannot remarry until all her debts are paid, including debts incurred by her ex-husbands such as her mahr and household expenses.
