Good to hear from you. Hope you’re well and looking forward to your upcoming trip. Regarding your friend getting back to Bologna, there are a couple of options but you haven’t mentioned the time he has to be there for so I can’t check specific times for you.

 

Bologna airport is approximately 130 Kilometres from Riccione.  

 

There are trains from Riccione to Bologna which take about 1 hour 30 minutes and costs vary between €6.00 – €15.00. To find train connections please click on the following link: trenitalia

 

 

He can then take the shuttle bus from the central station in Bologna to the airport (approx.€6.00 per person - 15 minutes) or a taxi from the taxi rank outside the station (approx. €15.00).

 

OR

 

He can get a shuttle bus from Rimini to Bologna but he would either have to get a train, bus or taxi from Riccione to Rimini first. The website for the Rimini Bologna shuttle is: http://www.shuttleriminibologna.it/en

One of my friends isn't convinced about the beauty of either the Italian countryside or of Italian women and is coming back to London on Monday-is there a bus/train he can take to Bologna?
