Has there been anything besides the eye of ra considered for expansion
packs?

Was thinking something that split the beam like ----| would be
cool...destroyable (from the sides), but cool nonetheless.
That and I hope to mod the board so fog can be released from the
squares ;).

Actually there is a 3D tower add on coming out in September and a
light sensitive pharaoh set due out early next year. A piece you're
talking about could be done with a diffraction grating so who knows?
