Hi, I'm contacting you all as you've shown an interest in Brethren Border Morris over the years. The side has gradually grown in our knowledge of the dance, and so we're making some changes to become an even better side. We're changing the name and the costumes. The colours will be the yellow, red and blue of the Birmingham coat of arms. We'll be known as Peaky Blinders after a local Victorian gang. The website will be
http://www.peakyblindersmorris.co.uk , and the email will be
peakyb...@gmail.com . Mainly we wanted to greatly improve the quality of the side, and we look forward to having a chance to prove it in due course. In order to do so we are particularly open to considering new members. Musicians are very welcome, and dancers especially, although dancers do need to be able to do some exercise of moderate intensity. Please let everyone you think might be interested know, and tell them they can get in touch by emailing
peakyb...@gmail.com .
I will still be checking this email address too. Look forward to working with you in future and showing you some new stuff,
Kath
