Hi everyone,

Great to have discussion about what we do.  Shame I can't make meeting on week Thursday, but I have promoted to everyone I know.  Can we arrange an event together in KHCC Garden, where we run activities and things to see what everyone thinks we should do , at least in and around the community centre? I'd be happy to support however.  Anyone suggest a few dates?

Heather is on the list for Kings Heath Garden Club, so should receive all these emails automatically (as will all other members).  If anyone not, please join, so we can have this conversation where everyone can see discussion, also can post directly other related events to our group:

Subject: Re: Adopting a Planter on High street

Hi everyone
I have now spoken to Alys (Fowler). She says edible planters are a bad idea, wrong place and too much pollution,
She believes we have plenty of other spaces we can grow food safely and should explore these first.
However she does believe that the planters could be more wildlife friendly and less thirsty with more perennials rather than having to replant each yr.
This is something we have been talking about in C&G Committee.
Best wishes
Bob

Hi,

How's about lunchtime in Community Centre Garden on Wednesday 4th April?  Could we see plans Alys and Bob put together for front of community centre?  Any details we can give people would be good - ideally could feedback more ideas from people on 4th too.

Thanks

Marcus
