Hi Team,

During my attempt to install the npm package "@khanacademy/perseus"  on a windows environment with Node version 18.17.0. I encountered an error. I followed the steps outlined below in an effort to install the package:

Step 1: Initially, I executed the command "npm i @khanacademy/perseus".

Step 2: After running the "npm install" command, I encountered an error, the details of which are attached below.

Package_install_error.png

Step 3: In response to the error, I tried installing the package with the additional flag "--legacy-peer-deps" using the command "npm install --legacy-peer-deps." However, this approach required the installation of "make" on Windows.

Step 4: I proceeded to install "make" for Windows and set the appropriate path environment variable. Following this, I restarted the machine, but unfortunately, the same issue persisted.

I would appreciate any suggestions or solutions to resolve this issue and successfully install the "@khanacademy/perseus" npm package.

Thank you,
Divya.
