I recently released a chess playing program to much fanfare. However, one KA user complains that the pieces were not positioned correctly and that the mouse had to be clicked beneath them to select them. The user spun-off of the program which remains an exact copy of the original. You can see its thumbnail by going to her Programs at https://www.khanacademy.org/profile/kaid_174146290610403304721411/projects and clicking the Recent button.
The program only uses the Processing.js default font. What can explain such a horrible mismatch between what I believe to be the correct positioning of text on the screen and what we see rendered for this particular user?
Thanks! /Bob Lyon

With so many normal users and one outlier you may need to better identify the issue.
What OS, and what Browser, or even what device? Has the user seen this issue before? Is the OS set to normal sized font, or is it set for a special need?
Lastly, you might create a program that demonstrates the positioning of textAlign()
for normal ASCII text and your chess pieces and see if that helps to highlight the issue.
