The Franklin Pierce Law Centre, New Hampshire
USA is organising the 1st Franklin Pierce Law Centre Intellectual
Property Law Essay Competition, 2010 in association with the National Law
University, Jodhpur, India. We cordially invite essays from students
pursuing graduation or post graduation in law, science or technology in Universities across the
Indian subcontinent. Participants may submit an essay on any of the following
topics:
- Issues in open source in biotechnology
- Obviousness in Chemical and Biotechnology Patents: A Post KSR analysis
- Patenting Software: A Comparative Analysis
The essays shall be judged by a panel of experts in the field including practitioners and academicians. The winners of the competition shall be rewarded exciting cash prizes amounting to Rs. 30,000 as well as tuition waiver for IP Summer Institute at Concord. The last date for the submission of the essay is March 31, 2010.
