Ladies and Gentlemen,
               The Indian Debating Union is a concept that revolves
around the formation of a single central and truly national body that
shall  work towards the betterment of debating in India. It is with
the single minded aim of promoting debating in the nation as well as
providing a platform for information(and expertise) exchange among
debaters all across the country that this organization has been
thought of.
                Since all of you are already extremely well aware of
the debating scenario and its shortcomings in the country( and
especially in Mumbai), i shall not waste much time on the formalities
of detailed description.
               Attached alongwith this mail is the detailed proposal
for the formation and functioning of the IDU. Kindly go thru it in
detail and also forward it to the heads of the Debating Societies in
your colleges or in your friends' circle. I shall be more than glad to
answer any queries that u( or they) may have. I may be contacted me on

               It is my sincere request that you kindly try and
spread the proposal among as many debating folks as u may know(
anywhere in India ) .
               This is an informal mail that i am sending out. The
formal invites to various college debating societies shall be underway
soon. It would be very helpful if u can forward this to the debating
societies in ur colleges so that the entire formal process is done
with soon and the organization gets a move on.
               Also kindly do visit the blog -
indiandebatingunion.blogspot.com , as this shall be the immediate
forum for discussion regarding anything to do with the IDU.
