Dear colleagues,

On behalf of COST Action CA24121 – Knowledge Graphs in the Era of Large Language Models (KGELL), we are pleased to announce two funding opportunities aimed at strengthening dissemination, inclusiveness, and career development within our network.

1st Call for ITC Conference Grants

This call supports researchers affiliated with legal entities located in Inclusiveness Target Countries (ITC) or Near Neighbour Countries (NNC) to present their own scientific work (oral presentation or poster) at high-level international conferences fully organised by third parties.

The grant aims to:

  • Strengthen participation from ITC-based researchers

  • Increase the visibility and dissemination of KGELL-related results

Key information:

  • Maximum funding: 1,500 EUR

  • Eligible conferences: high-level international events (e.g., ISWC, ESWC, ACL, KDD)

  • Application via e-COST (ITC Conference Grant form)

  • Required documents: application template, accepted abstract, acceptance letter, motivation letter

  • Deadline: 15 April 2026 (23:59 CET)

  • Notification: 1 May 2026

  • Conference must take place by 1 November 2026


1st Call for Young Researcher and Innovator (YRI) Conference Grants

This call supports KGELL participants under the age of 40 to present their own work (oral or poster) at high-level conferences organised by third parties.

The grant aims to:

  • Support career development of young researchers and innovators

  • Enhance KGELL’s scientific visibility

Key information:

  • Maximum funding: 1,500 EUR

  • Eligibility: under 40 years old (as registered in e-COST)

  • Application via e-COST (YRI Conference Grant form)

  • Required documents: application template, accepted abstract, acceptance letter, motivation letter

  • Deadline: 15 April 2026 (23:59 CET)

  • Notification: 1 May 2026

  • Conference must take place by 1 November 2026


Please note that applicants may submit only one application per call round, selecting a single KGELL grant track.

We encourage all eligible participants to apply and to disseminate this opportunity within their institutions and networks.
