Hi,

I am well now and decided to write this mail.

Though the matter is closed, I apologize for what I commented on the
post of idg. This was all because:

1) I am new to forum and don’t know the different ways used by Mentor
for replying. (This was the reason I liked the post of Shakthi)

2) When I was faculty in an institute, I had always been polite to my
students. Most of were well qualified; many of them were pursuing
their Engineering degree. May be, I am ignorant to this type of
behavior, as they never gave me the chance to think some alternate
like this.

I never intend to hurt anyone, but if anyone is hurt, I apologize
again.

I hope every doubts and my intentions are clear now.

Warm regards,

Sunil datta

You don't have to. It was just ignorance.

There is something new to be learnt, everyday.

This is face-to-face, I would assume.

Writing precisely and to the point, doesn't mean it is not polite.
When people participate in many mailing lists, in general, they are
only interested in content, not, the style of language or the
vocabulary used. Technical writing is not the same as essay writing :)

There is more interest in 'technical content' than the language itself.

No issues! The fact that you made an effort to understand, and not be
put out by the replies, is the _attitude_ that I, and I hope others as
well seek when new people join in our community.

Thanks for your understanding.

SK
