ניסיונות הונאה בחסות מגפת הקורונה

 

שימו לב

במהלך התקופה האחרונה ולקראת חלוקת המענקים הממשלתיים לאזרחים, אנו רואים עלייה בכל הקשור לניסיונות להוצאת כספים ופרטים מאזרחים רבים באמצעות הודעות מייל וסמס מזויפות (סמישינג) המתחזות לממשלה/הביטוח הלאומי/משרד הבריאות/מס הכנסה ועוד, אשר מטרתן גניבת פרטי הזדהות ופרטי חשבון/אשראי של הקורבן.

הודעות אלו מתחזות לבקשות "תמימות" לצרכי תשלום גמלת הכנסה מביטוח לאומי, לבקשות עדכון פרטים לצורך קבלת פעימת מס הכנסה ועוד.

לחיצה על הקישור תוביל את הקורבן לאתר מזויף אשר בו יתבקש הקורבן למסור פרטים אישיים ופיננסיים.

יודגש כי הגופים הרשמיים אכן שולחים הודעות מייל וטקסט בנושאים שונים, אך לאור העלייה בניסיונות ההונאה, אנו שבים ומתריעים בפניכם להתייחס להודעות אלו במשנה זהירות.

כיצד עלי להתגונן?

·         מומלץ להימנע מלחיצה על קישורים בהודעה/דוא"ל – העדיפו הקלדה ישירה של שם האתר או שימוש ב BOOKMARKS בדפדפן.

·         מומלץ לברר את הנושא טלפונית או באתר עם הגורם שפנה אליכם בהודעה.

·         מומלץ לבדוק הודעות אלו במקורות נוספים לאימותן (אתר הגוף/עיתונות וכו').

Attempted fraud under the auspices of the Corona plague

 

Please note,

During the recent period and in preparation for the government grants distribution to citizens, we are experiencing an increase in attempts to scheme financial and personal details from many citizens through fake email and SMS messages (Smishing). These messages impersonate government / Social Security / Ministry of Health/income tax and more. These messages mimic "legitimate" requests to provide income welfare from the National Insurance Institute, requests to update details to receive an income tax pulse, etc. Clicking on the link will lead the victim to a fake website where the victim is asked to provide personal and financial information.

Please pay attention, these legitimate entities do send email or text messages on different issues, but in light of the increase in attempted fraud, we urge you to treat these messages with extra caution.

How should I defend myself?

·         Do not click on links in the message/email – Always prefer typing the site name directly  or use Bookmarks in the browser.

·         Ratify the issue by phone or on the website with the entity representatives.

·         Verify the legitimacy of these messages with other sources to  (Official website/press, etc.)
