To understand more, Rafael Wlodarski and Professor Robin Dunbar set up an online questionnaire in which over 900 adults answered questions about the importance of kissing in both short-term and long-term relationships.
Rafael Wlodarski explained: 'There are three main theories about the role that kissing plays in sexual relationships: that it somehow helps assess the genetic quality of potential mates; that it is used to increase arousal (to initiate sex for example); and that it is useful in keeping relationships together. We wanted to see which of these theories held up under closer scrutiny.'
The survey responses showed that women rated kissing as generally more important in relationships than men. Furthermore, men and women who rated themselves as being attractive, or who tended to have more short-term relationships and casual encounters, also rated kissing as being more important.
It has been suggested previously that kissing may allow people to subconsciously assess a potential partner through taste or smell, picking up on biological cues for compatibility, genetic fitness or general health.
'Mate choice and courtship in humans is complex,' said Professor Robin Dunbar. 'It involves a series of periods of assessments where people ask themselves "shall I carry on deeper into this relationship?" Initial attraction may include facial, body and social cues. Then assessments become more and more intimate as we go deeper into the courtship stages, and this is where kissing comes in.'
In the current study, the team found that kissing's importance changed for people according to whether it was being done in long-term or short-term relationships. Particularly, it was rated by women as more important in long-term relationships, suggesting that kissing also plays an important role in mediating affection and attachment among established couples.
While high levels of arousal might be a consequence of kissing (particularly as a prelude to sex), the researchers say it does not appear to be a driving factor that explains why we kiss in romantic relationships.
Later in life, when marriage actually was a possibility, each dating relationship carried the question of when we should first kiss. I wish I could say I was wise about it, but the ignorance of junior high continued, and therefore I was driven more by emotions and desires. I ended up going further than I should have physically, which I would later regret.

I've listened to the song and watched the video quite a few times. So, I think that this song is about moving on from an ex-boyfriend/girlfriend who has passed away, maybe unexpectedly. Lana sings that she's sad he/she died, but she is trying to move on, even though she will always miss him/her. Kinda like the Power of Goodbye by Madonna. She tries to kiss goodbye the summertime sadness that his/her death brought her.
Finally, I find it interesting that the girls don't end up together in heaven. I think it means that the relationship was passionate love - that is, it was a summer love more than anything. It was not going to last a lifetime anyway. In short, they were not soul mates, but they had fun for a short period of time. In the song, Lana embraces that part of her life before embarking on another chapter.
BoA addressing about Jeongyeon bravery putting her arm around Nayeon when they received their Best Female Artist Of The Year Award in a big audience but little did BoA know it's not intentional. When they climb the stairs to get their award, Jeongyeon who walk behind Nayeon, noticed how Nayeon was having a hard time to climb up the stairs so Jeongyeon had to put her arm around Nayeon's waist and help her up the stairs. Fans who are genuinely care about their idol would support their decision just like how many Twice's fans supporting Nayeon and Jeongyeon. It was a very motivated speech until Sung Do Ill, a middle age actor commented, a relationship like them should be kept in a secret since it's not a good example for the underage fans. It's a relationship that people shouldn't be proud of since a romantic relationship are meant for man and woman and not woman and woman.
Feeling herself being watched, Nayeon turn to look around only to caught her own girlfriend staring at her intensely from the leather couch she sat in. Her lips curved into a naughty smile before she started dancing in a y manner. Uplifting her short dress a little more to exposed her milky white skin, she bites her lip. Jeongyeon shakes her head, not even impressed of her girlfriend free show. Nayeon pout her lips at her failed attempt. She put her high ball glass on the table and straddle Jeongyeon's lap.

"Congratulations to you too, Sajangnim! Thank you for the best music! You deserve that award!" Jae shouted from the other corner which later on earned a loud cheers and applause from them all. Yongwee has won a special award tonight. Instead of being nominated, she had her entire discography read in the ceremony honoring her with Producer Of The Year award. It was unexpected and it really surprised them all including herself. The moment Yongwee was announced as the winner, Sana really couldn't help herself, she jumped on Yongwee and hug her, nearly kiss her in front of that many people. Luckily, they managed to avoid another controversy that night as Jihyo quickly pulled Sana away from Yongwee. It was rather a suspense yet funny moment.
Everyone cheering loudly and they all drank their drink at once before the music started again but this time it's a little heavier than earlier. Some of the idols started dancing and they are free to do the things they couldn't do in front of public eye. Drinking, dancing to their fullest and smoking. Living their life as their normal self without the fear of being judge.
"Let's stop drinking. You're too drunk." Jeongyeon take the empty glass and put it away from Nayeon. Amongst these people in the party, Jeongyeon could be the only one who's sober. Her members are seem to be intoxicated too. JYP, Jung Wook and the Korea's Vice President seem to drank a lot too. Yongwee is obviously drunk. She has been drinking ever since this morning while Jeongyeon had to control herself just in case Nayeon will get too drunk which is what happening now. Seeing how Nayeon was going so hard on her drink tonight, Jeongyeon had to control herself from drinking too much. She knew Nayeon would be so handful to take care of when she's drunk.
