Judging by the slow response time on the group and the clearly outdated website, it looks like you guys have decided to stop supporting Keymando. Since I don't even think the trial version linked on the website works on OS X Yosemite, I can't imagine you guys are getting new purchases. I was wondering whether you'd considered open-sourcing the codebase?

Kev and I have lots of ideas that we want to roll out. And while we are not going to say yes to the open source plan yet, it is definitely something that we have discussed and are not writing off the table.
It's all a matter of timing, priority and just plain getting it done.

Hey Sean,
Even if you were not a user, I would tell you that both Kev and I pretty much cannot use our macs without this tool.
Granted, we spend 98% of our day in multiplexers, but the other 2% can be a significant waste of time without this tool.
Personally, I have command and ui automation scripts for the majority of apps that I find cumbersome to use / require heavy mouse usage.
Thanks for your patience with both of us, and don't hesitate to keep us accountable for responding quicker to people who care about this tool as much as we do!

Right now we are still talking about it with no firm commitments being made yet.
Between the work that we currently have on our plate plus family commitments, I can speak for both Kev and I when I say that we are wanting to spend more time, but currently can't.
I finish my current contracts at the end of March, at which time Kev and I will be spearheading a massive re-arch on Keymando. I will be doing the brunt as I will be contract free at that time.
Ping us back at the beginning of July, and we'll revisit this conversation!

Kev and I are right in the middle of a major rearch of the entire system. Switching to an functional core with an imperative shell. This is resulting in a drastically simpler design that is already allowing us to do much more than we were able to do before, in a much simpler way.
At this time, I think that we are going to hold off on going the open source direction. As the product itself is going to be morphing in a different direction, we are probably going to keep a closed lid (for the interim) on the new work that is being done. My guess, is that sometime in the November timeframe, we will be able to release the new "bits" to our current users. At that time, the extension model will be better documented. Save for you and a couple of other users, there were not
that many people that wrote their own extensions/plugins for the program. I know that between Kev and I, we have so many custom plugins/commands built, that we literally can't use our Macs without this program anymore.
Would you be willing to beta test for us as we go through the process of going through this update? It just means that you will have access to binaries earlier than others.
Once we have the external configuration model back in place, we could start getting you the binaries.
