Position: Sr SharePoint Developer

Location: Rockville, MD

Duration: 12 Months Contract

Responsibilities:

Migrate existing on-prem SharePoint applications and sites to SPO. Develop and maintain web-based applications and workflows using classic and modern SharePoint technology. Ensure development of new systems as well as enhancements to existing systems are performed in a timely manner and according to project plans. Support of this task may include analysis, design, programming, configuration management and accessibility and vulnerability remediation and compliance. Create Technical Design Documents and support creation of additional technical project documents such as RTMs, Test Cases etc.

Required Skills/Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer or Engineering Science, Information Technology, or related discipline; Master’s preferred.
• 5+ years of professional development experience using SharePoint and .NET technologies.
  
• Experience in using Infopath Forms, SharePoint Forms, SharePoint Designer, SharePoint migration
  
• Extensive experience with implementing workflows.
  
• Must have hands on experience of migrating SharePoint applications and sites from on-prem to SPO recently.
  
• Experience with Agile/SCRUM.
  
• Applicants selected will be subject to a Public Trust background security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to sensitive information.
  

Desirable Skills/Qualifications:

• Experience using ShareGate is highly desirable.
• Experience in software development using .NET Framework, MS-SQL Server, JavaScript, and HTML.
  
• Experience implementing and deploying custom SharePoint features to enhance out of the box SharePoint functionality.
