Hi Tim, I have been using the boomix tool for generating patterns as it adds an add-to & redo feature to kboom2.  When I find a pattern I like, I move it into the little kboom & continue adding smaller increments to the pattern.  If it improves it , I move it over as well, if not then the lower arrow will reset the main kboom to its previous state.  This works well as one can continue to add without losing what you already had.  I like to have several boomix tools running at one time, the problem is synchronizing them.  The bang tool with a play message will start the little kbooms, however the main kb will not start.  If I start the main kb, then press the bang tool, it appears to attempt to sync, however them are still out of step with each other.  The resync button seems to do the same.  Is there any way to start the main kb as well, or it by itself as the little kbooms are just storage, or a way to sync them all together?

Thank you for your help as always,  Hank

BTW, I enjoyed your RMSM #89 video, very informative, the snarfing & pasting tools with contents is  something I had not used before.

Thanks for the report.  It's cool hearing you describe your workflow.  I've adjusted the default Kboom (which is actually in wkboom2.k) and Boomix tools so they work a lot better with Bang.  They should now start right up together if you Bang them together.  And if you Bang them again, they will all stop together.  I've checked the changes into the main https://github.com/nosuchtim/keykit, and the files changed (for this particular issue) were lib/wboomix.k and lib/wkboom2.k .

Caveat to that last message - when using Bang to start Kboom and/or Boomix, the Start Quant feature is ignored; they both start the instant you Bang them.

Thank you Tim for such a quick response.  I set up 3 boomix tools & a kboom2 tool connected to a bang tool.  They all start in time, this definitely improves my workflow.  It is also nice to have a play & stop method with 2 mouse clicks.
