Hello, District Secretaries and Secretary-Treasurers,

As we approach to the end of our terms, I am planning to send in questions throughout the coming weeks for the Group to answer!
Typed below is the 1st question!

Q 1: How do you encourage your clubs to Lt. Governors to submit thorough information in their Monthly Report Forms, if your district uses them?

Thanks, guys! I would love to have your responses by next Sunday!

Hey Yoo Eun Kim!

To encourage clubs and Lt. Governors to submit thorough information I just remind them ahead of time so that they have time to do a thorough report. I find that if people are given plenty of time to do things at their leisure, they usually do a much more thorough job.

Thanks!

Well, I always include reminders in my newsletter about the monthly
reports. There will be recognition at my DCON I believe. Mostly, it's
the clubs that are involved with the district level who do them
though.

Hey!

To encourage the LTGs to turn in their reports, I'll always include a reminder in my email. I also remind everyone during on board meetings. I've been lucky to have such motivated LTGs who are pretty much always on time, however, I do believe sending out reminders email would be a great idea.

Hi Yoo Eun,

For the NJ District, we first stress the timely submissions of LTGRFs at our Midwinter Training Conference for new Board members. Whenever the LTGs sent in their forms, my Governor and I try to reply back with any of our comments. If we see any problems arising, we will contact their Zone Administrator to see if they can work something out.
Of course, I send out reminders a few days before the due date too.

Hope that helps!

Jiayun

Hi Yoo Eun!

Sorry for the late response, I've been caught up in a lot of stuff lately.

To remind Lt.Gs and secretaries, I send out bi-monthly reminders and I also remind them in every newsletter that I send out.
