Hi,

Was taking a look at the docs and didn't see anything related to splitting read/write DB transactions. Today in our architecture we deploy database clusters with write and read replicas, and it would be awesome to make Keycloak use the read replicas for all read only transactions, and just use the write replicas if the transaction writes something to the DB.

Is there any implementation in Keycloak to do that, or has someone already done that?

Thanks,
Lucas Ferreira.

In all configurations I have seen people enable event auditing so even read requests cause a write to the DB. Only pure read requests on the Admin API might not cause a write so I am not sure how useful that would be…
