Experts, need your opinion for below mentioned use case.

Use Case:  We are into B2B environment, and need to evaluate whether to go for multiple realms i.e. one realm for each vendor or single realm for all vendors.

Example:  Example, Salesforce or any other ERP systems where their customers are enterprises with many users within the organisation.

Notes:
  1. We are using it for our authentication & authorization for our micro-services environment i.e. application which request tokens and which verify tokens belong to us.
  2. Our application is multi-tenant and databases are per tenant as of now.

My thoughts:

Also, picture is attached as well.

Not an expert but if you will be importing their users into KC then multi-realm for sure. I would say in that case single-realm is not even a realistic option.

If all you need is a client per vendor (no user imports) then a single realm would be fine.

best regards, cen

Cen,

What is the reason that in case of importing users, single realm is not an option ?

Also, is there any implication if we go with multiple realms ?

-Thanks,
Navin
