Newbie question - Loading the Admin UI

Greetings,

I'm trying to set up a Keycloak server for production. I configured the Postgresql database and deployed server certificate chain. The home page https://<keycloak-fqdn> comes up but when I click on the Administration Console the page with the Loading the Admin UI and the spinning spinner appears:

Any ideas what is wrong and how to fix it? TIA

Hi Aaron,

I don't have a comprehensive solution for you since there is little information to go on here. But it's a known issue that we're aware of. I recommend you check out this issue, it might help you find a solution.

Hi Jon,

I realize i did not provide much context, so here it is: Keycloak 21.1.1 on Ubuntu 22.01.1, OpenJDK 11.0.19.

The hostname  is keycloak, the FQDN is keycloak.izoard.com.

I'm using Postgresql 15 running on RockyLinux 9.0. (I see  a bunch of tables in the database)

In the keycloak.conf the hostname is set to keycloak

hostname=keycloak

I tried a few suggestions I received, namely, exporting the environment variables:

KC_PROXY=edge

KC_HOSTNAME_STRICT=true

Following you advice I tried starting keycloak using

kc.sh start --hostname-admin-url=https://keycloak.izoard.com:443

Unfortunately, nothing changed.  The home page comes up. 

Once I click on Administration Console I get the page with the spinner and the UI does not load ever

Is there any diagnostics I could capture?

I've deployed the hostname-debug.jar and got the results and I saw that Frontend  URL had the value https://keycloak/ and was marked [FAILED]. I changed the hostname and the failure has cleared out and UI seems to have loaded but I am getting the OIDC error Screenshots attached. Any suggestions?

I forgot to add the value of the redirect URL which I see in the log: 

redirect_uri=https://keycloak.izoard.com/admin/master/console

I upgraded to 21.1.2 and the issue went away
