Issue with Admin User Permissions in Keycloak WebGUI (v26.1.4)

Hi Team,

We’ve encountered an issue with the shared Admin user account in Keycloak, which is accessed by me and several teammates.

Currently, I am the only one able to successfully make changes through the Keycloak WebGUI. Although the interface indicates that changes made by others are saved, the changes are not actually applied upon verification.

This behavior persists across different machines and browsers. Regardless of the environment, only my changes are reflected, while others’ changes are not.

We’ve also observed that when I save changes, the debug logs show the corresponding update queries. However, when others attempt to save changes, no update queries appear in the logs.

We’re looking to understand the root cause of this issue and identify a solution.

Keycloak version in use: 26.1.4
