Hi there!
Is there a plan to implement Keycloak support for Solid-oidc?
Thanks,
Stephen

Hi Stephen,

Keycloak supports the OpenID Connect protocol, so as long as you configure it correctly it should work with any client that implements it.

Thanks Jon
It's the Solid-OIDC protocol I'm wondering about:

I think there was talk of supporting  Solid-OIDC  in Keycloak a couple of years ago?
Best wishes

Hmmm, I am not familiar with this specification. Perhaps someone else on the dev team has been involved with this effort.

Hi,

there was a discussion about Solid-OIDC few months ago in one of the OAuth SIG (at that time still FAPI SIG) meetings. AFAIK one of the requirements was DPoP support, which we have in preview version in latest Keycloak now and will be in Keycloak 23. The other things are not yet available.

If you are willing to contribute, it would be welcome. Also you are welcome to join the OAuth SIG meetings (see the invitations in the other emails on this mailing list) if you want to discuss this in more details.

Thanks,
Marek

Hi Marek
Just following on from our chat in August. Is there a guide to using the preview version of the latest Keycloak 23? Do I build it myself or is it available somewhere?
Best wishes
Stephen

We build a new nightly version every 24 hours, this contains all the latest changes from the main branch. You can find it under the GitHub releases.
