Hi everyone

Since the Fuse and servlet filter adapters have now been removed; can anyone think of a reason to continue generating OSGi metadata for Keycloak artefacts?

From a Keycloak development POV I guess it's no longer necessary, but I'm not that involved to know for sure.

Personally, I had to use OSGi several times in the past, and it was always a bit frustrating when libraries didn't contain OSGi metadata. We created issues asking for providing those metadata, we packaged libraries on our own or we just didn't use such libaries.

I don't know how many people still are using OSGi these days. And how many keycloak users are using it. Maybe it makes sense to ask in the Keycloak *Users* group?

You can easily use nimbusds oidc sdk. I use it with OSGi since several
years and have no issues with it.
Since it is sdk, you still have to feed it with information from servlet
or jaxrs filters, but that's minor issue.
