I HAD ADBLOCK DISABLED BECAUSE IT WAS AN AWESOME SIGHT
IF I MADE A MISTAKE I COULD KEEP GOING OR GO BACK AND FIX IT
NOW I CANT DO EITHER OF THESE
ALSO HOW DUMB IS IT FOR THE LETTERS TO FLASH BLACK AND WHITE ALL THE TIME
VISUAL FEEDBACK IS RUINED BECAUSE IT FLASHES FROM THE COLOR OF BEING A TYPED LETTER TO NOT BEING A TYPED LETTER.
I USED KEYBR MORE THAN ANY OTHER TYPING SITE BECAUSE IT WAS FLUID, NOT TIME RESTRICTIVE, DIDNT PENALIZE YOU FOR A SIMPLE MISTAKE, DIDNT HAVE A STUPID FLASHING HIGHLIGHT ON EACH CURRENT LETTER, THERES OPTIONS TO CHANGE THE SIZE AND THE COLOR FOR NIGHT TYPING.

THE SITE WAS PERFECT AND YOU RUINED IT YOU DUMBASS

But I honestly tried to make it better!

I have a couple of cool features on my mind that would be difficult to implement in the old version, so I rewrote everything from scratch using a different technology.

Some things got broken by the way, but I plan to fix them all quickly.

After that I am planning to implement a few more ideas that I am sure you will like.

So please don't leave, stay with us!

Alex, I really agree with what you are trying to do but have a bit of a problem. I use the keybr button to access websites so that I can practice from, being 'real world' to me using language that i use in my job. When ever i try to do some practice all I can access is a page from before the famous update. I have reset my data logged in and out and still cannot access new data. Is this a know issue? Is there a 'cure'? Regards David

Alex, nope!! sorry still stuck with the last page that I accessed before that large update. Is the keybr key working to your knowledge? Is there an issue with firefox? As I have already deleted my legacy data etc the only thing that that I could think of is to delete my account and re register, assuming that the keybr key is working.

@KEYBR.COM First, a huge THANKS for building this! Second, another huge thanks for redoing the code so you can do more awesome things for us! I love this tool and expect to spend daily time with it for a long time. I'm sorry that people who get something for free can be so rude. Keep doing what you're doing!

As mentioned on another post by me, the greater margin of typists complaining about interfaces that don't actually interfere with their typing performance are generally incompetent.  Punished for making an error?  That's to be expected.  How about you learn to type without making errors, like I do every day.  Instead of whining about things that can't be fixed, why don't you improve upon your typing?  The only real obstructions is your silly preferences.  

Granted this site has gone downhill in some respects, but your complaint really isn't warranted.  The things you've mentioned already exist in other threads.  The only "dumbass" here is you.

Alex isn't a wizard, so he can't magically make you learn how to hit the keys properly so you don't need to backspace.  Perfection is not something you're going to find.  You probably can only supply like a 50 CPM rating anyhow.  That's what half of these people who've been complaining tend to type at.  "Ah flashing light fucked me up."  "It was green and I don't like that color"  "Ugh!  It won't let me backspace cause I made an error!" "Why is my space bar broken?"  "This site is lagging so I can't go my fastest"  


Also, if you're not used to being penalized for making a "simple mistake" -- then I'd really like to know what typing sites you've been on.  Typeracer, 10fastfingers, typera, and every single known typing site formulates a penalty of some kind when you make an error.  Whether it stops you dead in your tracks to submit the appropriate character, or to backspace.  Methodically sites go about it different, but deductions to your score are made regardless at the end of a race/test.

Before you submit something in all caps, and look like a spectacled langur jacked up on coke -- put some actual thought into your posts.
