Suggestion - instead of average speed of all time use moving averages as it will be better for the user

averages take a lot of time to reflect the average of the user learning.

A moving average of like 7 days will reflect the average in a better way.

Actually, even as my calendar is quite consistent, it would be nice to note a rolling average supplementary to the overall average.
Monkeytype does something similar where they have a rolling average over the last ten tests, but having over the last 7 days would be much better. 

It could be something that sits in between "All Time Statistics" and "Statistics For Today" since there's framework already there for daily averages.

I agree. All Time Statistics: Average Speed is a waste of time. Your average value will always be held back by your starting speeds. A rolling monthly average would better represent your progress.
