Under 13 programming app

Hello,

Marc Patton here, long time lurker in the KIC group. :)

I have a 7th grade computer science class and we recently learned the basics of coding in Python and creating a game within the IDE console. I would like to step-up their engagement by using an application that will allow them to create a fully functional app with a graphic interface. I only have them for a semester, so I don't have enough time to develop a window interface. 

Does anyone have an app development program that will work well with students under the age of 13?
