There are just two weeks left to register for the Empower {MN:CS} Conference, happening August 5–7 in Minneapolis. This week-long professional development event is designed to empower K–12 educators to bring equitable, engaging computer science education to their classrooms.
Participants choose a workshop that best aligns with their personal goals, interests and experience levels. Workshop topics for this year include:
Introduction to Computer Science and Computational Thinking
Teaching Debugging
Experience CS: A new platform for teaching computer science
Introduction to Artificial Intelligence
Introduction to Data Science with Computer Programming
The cost for current CSTA members is $50. Non-CSTA member registration is $100, and includes one year of CSTA membership.
Stipends of $630 are available for MN K-12 Educators who attend all 3 days of the conference. Travel reimbursements are also available for educators not local to the Twin Cities.
