A position is available for a full-time Information Technology Support Technician (8 hours per day/5 days per week) with District Media and Technology Services beginning June 1, 2016.
Summary of Duties: Install, configure, and repair computers, tablets, Chromebooks, printers, interactive whiteboards, projectors, telephones, voice amplification systems, and other peripheral devices. Support, monitor, test, and troubleshoot hardware and software problems pertaining to local area networks. Provide end user support to teachers, staff, and students for LAN based applications and computer based assessment.
Qualfications Required: An AA degree from an accredited technical college or equivalent experience, and a working knowledge of Chromebooks, Apple computers, Windows computers, various tablets, and networks. Working knowledge of basic productivity software (word processing, spreadsheets, databases, presentation software). Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds and have a valid driver's license.
