iPad's built-in capabilities are perfect for supporting your early literacy efforts. Join us to learn how to use these capabilities and explore classroom examples during our summer Early Literacy Lunch ’n Learns.

Why it Matters:

The use of technology for your learners should be intentional and natural. It should also be age appropriate and meet the ability of each student. iPad is the ideal device to bring this kind of learning to life. It’s perfect for providing powerful ways to listen, explain, annotate, read, connect, and more with multimodal tools. And iPad can help early learners build literacy skills while learning at their own pace and communicating, creating, and exploring in all-new ways.

Early Literacy Lunch ’n Learns:

Wednesdays, 11:00 - 11:30 a.m. CST

June 12: Phonemic Awareness

June 19: Vocabulary & High Frequency Words

June 26: Fluency & Oral Language

July 10: Phonics Skill Development

July 17: Reading & Language Comprehension

July 24: Writing & Handwriting
