This is by far the best tool for showing key hits and mouse activity
in Linux.

I was wondering, when I hit SHIFT+$ (in my keyboard - br abnt2 - the $
is in the same key as 4) I'd like key-mon to actually show $ rather
than
4. The same holds true for other chars we get in combination with
SHIFT. Is there an option to set that? If not, will key-mon someday
have this feature?

You can find me in #Vim or #Archlinux on Freenode.

Thanks a lot for this software, which already has a great deal of nice
features. Indeed!

Oi Fernando,

I've thought about it but this is the first request for the feature.
It's a little bit of work since I only get scancodes so have to interpret what Shift-4 means.
I'll add it as a feature request in the bug list and add you in the CC.

Okay. Thank you.

I think that would be nice because different keyboard layouts do not
have all the keys we get when combined with SHIFT in the same place.
For example, in br_abnt2 The " (double quote) is together with the
' (single quote) key.

Here we have some examples (screenshots) of in how different positions
"shift-keys" are placed.

Thanks for having given attention to my request/suggestion.
