Dear Cyril (following on our SL conversation this morning, copied to the lists)
A better solution already existed for negating argmods, though almost undocumented:
ba noji la Paris
that which is not designated as Paris
is already supported in LIP and referred to in Appendix H.
There is no hint of the ability to negate argmods in the grammar file trial.85,
because it is handled on the lexer level (LIP reads NOJI as a JI word). This
is an example of why the lexer in LIP is a bad thing!
I read through L3, which on the whole I quite like except for the uniformly incorrect
treatment of negated designating arguments
In L3, I discovered that I had not implemented the other variations of HA and duly added
words ciha (class CA), kiha (class KA) and iha/iciha (synonymous in class ICA)
iha is the official word of this sort, but iciha would be the regular form, and I leave it
for those who might prefer it.
