The Pieropan Winery in the town of Soave is one of Italy's most accomplished and critically acclaimed of all wine estates in the country. Soave has been produced here since the early 1900s, and their versions, ranging from a classic offering as well as two cru (single vineyard) versions are routinely considered among the finest Soaves of the entire production zone.
For many years, Leonildo Pieropan managed the estate, and in doing so helped preserve the huge quality of Soave, all this while many producers released simple, inexpensive versions that too often typified this lovely Italian white wine. Thanks to Pieropan and a few others artisans, Soave could still be characterized as one of Italy's finest whites, one that could age for a decade or more when treated in a proper fashion.
Sadly, Leonildo Pieropan passed away in 2018 at the age of 71, having worked 50 harvests in Soave. Today his sons Andrea and Dario continue their father's passionate work not only with Soave, but also with a few local reds such as Valpolicella and Amarone.
Andrea Pieropan: I can talk not just for 20 minutes but 20 years. I saw my father working the cellar, he spent all his life working the cellar. What I remember about him is that he put 100% of his attention to the work he has done. He could be making coffee for us after lunchtime, or he could be planning the next bottling of wine.
He was always working. I remember even in the last days when he was not in good health, he did the same thing he did in the past, for example, taking care of fermentation.. Wondering how is the wine, how is the vineyard? This is what I remember about my father.
Pieropan: My father, before being a wine producer was also a viticulturist. He spent all his life taking care to expand the vineyards, to expand the estate from what he had inherited to what we have now. My father started in 1967 after he had completed his wine studies in Conegliano.
He had the opportunity to buy vineyards near the Soave castle. (La Rocca) He immediately recognized that the soil of La Rocca was completely different than Calvarino (La Rocca, clay and chalky- Calvarino, volcanic soils) and could be another great wine.
Since 1978, this choice allowed him to not immediately release the wine after the harvest because aging in oak takes time. He decided not to sell the wine not the year after the harvest, but the year after that.
So two years after the harvest. This makes a revolution, because nobody in Italy was able to accept an Italian white wine aged in oak and released two years after the vintage. In a market where we used to drink wine on the first of January from the previous vintage, here was a wine fermented and aged in oak that was golden in color.
Pieropan: After 15-20 years in foreign markets it had become popular, so then it also became popular in Italy, winning the best white wine of the year from Gambero Rosso (Italy's best known wine publication). In the beginning of the 1990s, Italian wine magazines started to write about the wine. There was a new appreciation of this wine.
Remember that at that time, the finest Italian wines were considered as those made from a traditional variety. Think about these: Gaja & Rey, Chardonnay. Vintage Tunina, mostly Sauvignon (Blanc). Terre Alte around this period, mostly Sauvignon.
So the idea to make great white wine from indigenous grapes was very, very unique. Because the general opinion was that if you want to do a great white wine, you should use international grapes, so Chardonnay, Sauvignon, these grapes. That represented the challenge of my father.
Pieropan: The over ripe, sweet style, in my opinion does not best represent the category of Amarone. It is obvious, in the 9000 vineyards that represent Valpolicella, you cannot have have in all of them the finest expression of Amarone. I think Amarone is a wine that can be rich and complex, but at the same time, it can be fine and elegant.
From the best areas of Valpolicella, you can have richness from the sugar but also elegance from the acidity. My Amarone is represented in this style, in this category. We produce 20,000 bottles per year. The style is sapid, clean, not sweet, not over powerful on the palate. It is a very elegant wine.
This game can't get enough f*cking me over. I have this trophy on PS4 but when i pick the expensive clothes nothing happens on stats i'v only come to 81% and 1 item changes only 1% if i go in a house or whatever it says 6%
cuz people dosnt help out on here. Remember to get tatto's too all of them they will boost it up too, and get a grove cut. I still had some missing. so i went to another tatto artist and checked my stats while in there it was 100% still no trophy so i went to my house removed my clothes shirt and pants went to my sport car in garage and i got the trophy. and it says i have 100 sex appeal while having no pants and shirt
i will alwas have full sex appeal without pants and shirt, i have like 50% normal but in a sports car it gets 100. i went to LS tatto pearl bought all the tattos then i went to Las Venturas one and changed them and from 1% to 2% it changed then i had 100% when i was in there and like i said earlier i went to my house and removed some clothes and then to my car and i got it.
5. I then went to Las Venturas to that tatto pearl and while i was sitting there i checked sex appeal stats and when i changed the tattos from my old ones to new it would turn it up by 1% so i did that until it said i had 100%.
6. then i had 100% but no trophy so i took my sports car to my house went inside removed only my shirt and pants, went out to the garage sat down in the car and the trophy popped up... i cant find the guide i was reading but the red berret hat gives the most sex appeal
this is what i read: -to-raise-your-sex-appeal-on-grand-theft-auto-san-andreas-for-the-ps2 but i still didn't get 100, so i went to another tatto pearl and changed it 1 by 1 and it boosted up it abit until i had 100. then i think i got it with that "glitch"
might make a better explaining tomorrow but idk. can try do it again from another save so i will do it exactly it was awhile ago i did. and its 8am and haven't sleept yet soo wrote that fast... might do that sometime later
its only a trophy not something u need to get the game 100%, just try another save file from late in the game where u have unlocked that store..."if nothing else works?" i alwas use more than 1 save files cuz im not sure if one of them will glitch or something. plus while doing side missions save often because theres no checkpoints usually
Yeah I think my latest save game is glitched. I loaded another previous save and it works.
EDIT: I figured out that if I put on Beige Shorts (ZIP) I would lose all appeal and it will permanently remain on 0%
One thing to note that your last driven vehicle and its condition also influences your sex appeal. So try to get a lowrider or a sports car in mint condition. The sex appeal boost will only apply if the car remains close to you.
If it helps, I managed to get this trophy by accident. I had just 100% the game, I was wearing some Binco blue sweatshirt, a gold cuban chain, black sunglasses I think from victim, urban camo pants, hi top shoes, some victim watch, and blonde cornrows, the expensive tats from the first tattoo shop and the weed tattoo shop I'm San Fierro. I just stole a Banshee off the road and got the trophy. I didn't have to do any exploit, just doing gang wars and it happened.
There's another trick to maxing out CJ's sex appeal, similar to the tattoo glitch, but cheaper, quicker, and available from the beginning of the game. Removing clothing in the wardrobe of any safehouse does not remove the appeal bonus for that item. Removing and putting on the white tank top 33 times should be enough to max personal sex appeal at 50% (compared to 50 times for the tattoos). The process is much quicker if clothing with higher appeal is available.
In regards to the oysters, yes, this adds an enhancement where girlfriends will date you regardless of your appearance and it also gives you the option to find them again should things go pear-shaped, excluding Denise and Millie. As far as the stat though, this remains unchanged. Collecting all the oysters will not change your in-game sex appeal percentage and if memory serves, I don't think it ever did.
No. That should do it. CJ must "Keep" the removed item and "Wear" the added item each time - no shortcuts. However, the menu can be simplified by removing all other clothing; then the option to remove is only available when wearing the item that's being exploited.
I just tested the sex appeal/wardrobe glitch on Xbox One and popped the achievement as expected. I'm expecting the exploit to work on all classic, mobile and remastered versions, but can't independently test on PS3 - which seems to have the most recent Remastered script version.
