Keshav Shakha GuruDakshina Utsav on Sunday.

We worship Bhagawa Dhwaj as our Guru that represents the Hindu cultural tradition and has been passed down to us from ages. During Guru Dakshina Utsav, we respectfully and voluntarily offer Guru Dakshina, as a token of our dedication to our source of vital cultural inspiration. On this auspicious occasion we urge you to come and show your support the efforts to preserve and reinforce our great Hindu culture and best traditions of Punya Bhoomi Bharat.

 

While we contribute with our tana (body) and mana (mind) throughout the year, GuruDakshina is the one time of the year when we can contribute dhana (money) as well by offering dakshina to our Guru, the Bhagwa Dhwaja. The saffron color and unique shape of the Dhwaja represent the flames of the Yajna. As we offer samarpan to the Yajna, so we offer a portion of our earnings to the Dhwaja. This will help our society and our future generations in building a great and confident future based on our illustrious and glorious culture!

 

At the shakha, you can make your contribution in Cash or via a check made out to Hindu Swayamsevak Sangh. The Guru Dakshina is a tax-deductible and you will receive a receipt via email for your contributions.
