I just bought the pro wifi lock expecting to be able to open the door while on vacations, but remote connection does not work, very disappointing.
Wifi connects and shows good signal strength when I am home, but when I leave, the remote conection is not available and the " connecting " screen never reaches the lock.
However, there currently seems to be a major flaw. It seems like I can only unlock the Lock Bolt on the Video Doorbell Pro screen and not lock it? So, there can be a potentially unsafe situation where I unlock it remotely and am not able to re-lock it until I get home?
Can someone from Wyze please tell us if this will be fixed and if more enhancement are coming (notifications, etc.)? If not, I hate to lose the integrated keypad and fingerprint sensor, but I might have to return the Lock Bolt and replace it with a Lock that is already WiFi-enabled.
I agree, need the option to lock / unlock and have a notification icon showing it is. Just having unlock is a security risk, if you accidentally hit the unlock you have no way to lock it back. Thinking of sending mine back and get something else until this security issue is fixed.
The Esc+Fn (Fn lock) does work on my Win11 pro. Took a while to figure out that it only locks the F keys into their various F functions. I agree with Carter that being able to lock the Arrow keys into their Fn function (home, end, pgup, pgdn) would be a lot more useful to me.

the only idea I have is to duplicate the track so you've got a version that you can mute and lock, and another that you can mute and unmute and if it gets screwed up you can simply delete the track and then reduplicate the locked track. But can you describe what you're doing with an unlocked audio track that gets screwed up when you're editing video? There are probably other ways of editing to avoid the problem of throwing things out of synch.
