January 11th BCA Meeting: Lolo Pass Hotel Sale/Conversion: Link Included

Dear Buckman Neighbors and other Interested Parties,

The first meeting for 2024 of the Buckman Community Association will be held this Thursday, Jan 11th, 7-9pm.

This is a virtual meeting.

The main topic of the meeting will focus on the unexpected and very rushed purchase of the Lolo Pass Hotel, located at E Burnside and 16th, to Central City Concern for the purposes of establishing a 70 bed intensive treatment center and transitional housing.

We know many people have questions about this proposal, and Central City Concern and representatives from Multnomah County, will be there to answer what they can. They have pledged to work with the neighbors and businesses potentially impacted by their planned programming.

Please forward this to any neighbors and interested parties you know who might want to attend.

Multnomah County Board Meeting January 4th 2024 Video Recording....there are some comments pertaining to this purchase interspersed with comments about gas appliances in the first open public comment period, and then a presentation and comments as the first agenda item.
