Hi All,

Hope that this finds you well in these most trying of times.

So…I’m officially retired from KNA as of last meeting and am jazzed about how you will all proceed going forward.

You  have a lot to be proud of and keep building upon as well as new and as yet undiscovered ways in which to keep advocating for all the residents of Kerns  and Portland.

As I reel from all the devastating, hurtful and disorienting things going on in the world, I keep coming back to that old 60’s slogan that seems to have more relevance than ever which was….”Think Globally, Act Locally”.  I can’t personally stop wars around the world, reverse global warming, etc.etc. but I can throw my shoulders behind local actions that have direct impact on my family , my neighbors, our side of the river, our bigger city and state in general.

Re-realizing this gives me hope in my darker moments and I just wanted to thank you for your efforts in the past and cheer you on now.
