Hello Kerns NA Board and Neighbors,
Today from 4-8pm today Barbie’s Village will be hosting an Indigenous People’s Day celebration in Kerns Neighborhood.
Please stop by and support if you can. Details below.

-Dave Weaver
Kerns NA Vice Chair

Neighbors of Barbie's Village,

Barbie’s Village will be hosting an Indigenous People’s Day celebration once again on Monday October, 13, 2025, 4pm - 8pm, see flyer attached. We as leaders of faith and community members who were involved with the original Land Back action with Future Generations Collaborative have continued to stay in relationship as Friends of Barbie's Village, and we want to make sure you receive the invitation.

As always, this is a completely free family-friendly event that Future Generations Collaborative hosts for their friends and neighbors. There will be an indigenous marketplace, food and vendors, a children's powwow and a presentation from playwright and actor Amber Kay Ball. We’ve been so blessed by this abundant space that they provide.

We as Friends of Barbie's Village would love it if you considered making a donation as a "housewarming gift" and a sign of gratitude for FGC and Barbie's Village! Consider donating here or writing a check to Future Generations Collaborative.

Thank you,
Rev. Chris Dela Cruz, with Friends of Barbie's Village
