Summer Free For All Cultural Events is gearing up for our Summer 2024 season of free cultural events in the parks. Our mission is to build community through free, inclusive, and family-friendly activities that celebrate Portland’s diverse cultures and local artists.
Thinking about partnering with Summer Free For All to host a movie, concert, or other cultural event? We're thrilled to unveil just how simple the application process is!
Summer Free For All 2024
- Summer Free For All Cultural Events: This page has all the information you need to bring free outdoor events to your community, including our brand-new Community Partner Handbook and a link to the 2024 Event Application.
- Community Contribution: The Community Contribution is an important piece of the partnership that allows us to continue to offer high-quality programming in a cost-effective way. Community Contributions for 2024 begin at $1000 per event.
- Parks Levy: In keeping with the commitments of the passage of the 2020 Parks Levy, groups will help Summer Free For All Cultural Events support and advance the following levy goal:
- Provide park and recreation services to diverse populations including communities of color, seniors, teens, households experiencing poverty, immigrants and refugees, and people living with disabilities.
Application Timelines
- Applications Due: January 15, 2024 by 11:59pm
- Acceptance Notifications: January 19, 2024
- Community Contributions Due: June 7, 2024

I don’t know the mechanics of this, but we have previously had movies in Oregon Park and that might be a cool event for the Neighborhood.
