Hey all, I know it has been a long time, so I wanted to provide quick updates stemming from our work to make the streets of the Kearns Neighborhood safer.

 

1. The Plant has been working very closely with their trucking service providers. They are now working with a refined and reduced number of providers which has increased navigation and direction communications for drivers.  This appears to be reducing traffic incidents.
2. The Portland Bureau of Transportation informed me recently that tubular markers will be installed by January 5^th along the Jersy Mikes curb. That should help with traffic flow. 
3. We set up a neighborhood concern/compliant call line for citizen concerns.
4. Many other steps have been taken but will stay with highlights for now.

 

We are not done by any means. We have more steps to take but wanted to give a quick update.
