One of our primary target in KernelCare is to ensure the best customer experience. And the thing we take the most seriously is the releases quality control.

Every server has a different configuration, we will be glad if you could help us with quality assurance.
So to make sure that your servers are safe - please apply those patches to 1 of your testing servers.

We have released patches for Spectre v.2 (CVE-2017-5715) vulnerability for above-mentioned distributions to the TEST feed.

A fix is applies to the following distros:

RHEL7
CentOS7
CentOS7-plus
PVE-3.10
CloudLinux7
CloudLinux 6h
Oracle Linux 7

To deploy them:
edit /etc/sysconfig/kcare/kcare.conf

Add:

PREFIX=test

Run:

kcarectl --update

If your tests reveal any crashes or you might need any further details  - please contact our support team.
