We are excited to invite you to our upcoming Bangalore Kernel meetup, where we will be diving into fascinating discussions, networking, and learning from industry experts. Whether you are a seasoned professional or just starting in the field, this event promises to be engaging and insightful.


Meetup Details:

IBM Linux Technology Center are delighted to welcome core linux kernel aspirants on Nov 4th 2023 for Linux Kernel meet. We are excited to bring together the expertise of colleagues working in the core linux kernel subsystem. We all gather at IBM EGL campus located at Embassy Golf Links Business Park, Challaghatta, Bengaluru, Karnataka 560071

It will be a half day event, spanning from 10.30 AM to 3.00 PM. IBM will provide snack lunch

• Snack Box/Lunch
• Lightning talks
• Tea Break & Networking Session
• Vote of Thanks

Registrations are welcome ! Stay Tuned! : Will share the Google form soon for registration and help us to provide all the details for us to proceed further.

Topics could be in the following areas:
Core kernel subsystem, Virtualization, PCIe, CXL, GPU, Performance Engineering on cores & kernel sub system testing, automation

Thank you for overwhelming response on your registration.

We have received several abstracts but we would like to get more abstracts to have speakers in different core kernel areas.

We have drafted two formats of talk,

1. Dedicated Talk - 20-30mins.
   
2. Lightning Talk - a quick byte on some of the interesting topics than can be presented and discussed in 5-15mins.  

 

Please send out an abstract by replying to this email in short paragraph (Who ever already sent while filling the form pls. ignore)

Participants sending out abstract is given precedence to participate.

Dear organizers,

Is there an ETA on when one might receive their attendee confirmation? I don't live in BLR and therefore need to book flights at least two weeks prior to the meetup. Given that NZ vs Pak (CWC 2023) is in BLR on the same day (4th Nov), flights will be quite full. I do not want to miss if I get a confirmation! :)

Hey team,

Firstly, thanks for organizing this meetup! Seems like a really good initiative. I had a small doubt, was there a selection criterion for meetup? I had filled up the form before my friends did and did not receive an invitation email. So just curious to know if it was some small mishap or something else :)
