Job Type: 12-month contract
Work Arrangement: On-site role (5 days a week from Office)

Job Description:
We are currently hiring experienced QA Automation Engineer from telecom domain of experience in building and maintaining robust test automation frameworks for modern web and API platforms. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products and will lead the development and execution of our testing strategy, driving the adoption of automation best practices across our projects. This role ensures that all products meet quality standards before release and collaborates closely with development, product, and business teams.

Key Responsibilities:
Design & Development: Create and maintain scalable automation frameworks utilizing Java, Selenium WebDriver, TestNG/JUnit, and Maven.
API Testing: Develop and execute API test automation using tools like REST Assured and Postman.
Test Strategy: Formulate and implement comprehensive test strategies and plans that align with project requirements.
Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of QA engineers and testers to foster a culture of quality.
Testing Coordination: Oversee testing efforts for functional, integration, regression, and performance testing.
Environment Management: Manage test environments, tools, and associated data effectively.
Metrics & Reporting: Track, analyze, and report on testing metrics, defect trends, and overall release readiness.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including development, product management, and DevOps, to meet quality objectives.
Continuous Improvement: Advocate for and drive continuous improvement in testing processes and automation frameworks.
Compliance: Ensure adherence to industry standards and best practices in testing.
Integration: Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab, or GitHub Actions.
Behavior-Driven Development (BDD): Utilize BDD frameworks such as Cucumber to ensure alignment with business requirements.
Test Management Tools: Use JIRA and TestRail for effective test management, documentation, and defect tracking.
Root Cause Analysis: Analyze defects, perform root cause analysis, and ensure high test coverage.
Mentorship: Provide guidance to junior QA engineers and contribute to the evolution of QA best practices.

Required Skills:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
10+ years of experience in QA, with a significant focus on automation.
Proficient in Java, Selenium, TestNG/JUnit, and API testing tools (e.g., REST Assured, Postman).
Familiarity with BDD frameworks (e.g., Cucumber) and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins).
Experience with Git, Docker, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) is advantageous.
Strong working knowledge of HTML/CSS/JavaScript for UI test validation.
Excellent SQL skills for backend verification.
Outstanding problem-solving and communication abilities.
Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies
